Psychosocial Recovery Coach

Psychosocial disability is used to describe a disability that may arise from a variety of mental health conditions such as depression or dementia. 

A psychosocial recovery coach is a specialist mental health support person with qualifications in mental health. 

Psychosocial recovery coaches can;

  • Spend time with you, and people important to you, to get to know you and understand your needs  
  • Help you better understand the NDIS
  • Develop a personalised recovery plan
  • Help you find out about different NDIS services and mainstream  supports to implement your recovery plan
  • Provide coaching to develop skills, resilience, decision making and motivation
  • Help you review the effectiveness of your recovery plan
  • Help you prepare for and assist you during your NDIS Plan Review

This support is available to participants who have a psychosocial mental health condition and funding under;
