Employment & Workplace Assistance

Work is where we meet new people, challenge ourselves, develop new skills, serve the community, and earn our financial freedom.

Entrust can provide Supports in Employment which is for people who are employed but need extra support due to their disability.

Workplace Assistance is also available if the participant is not currently working but wants to explore employment or career pathways or needs capacity building supports to successfully engage with a Disability Employment Services provider.

These supports can be delivered one on one or in a group and includes things like;

  • On the job assessments related to the impact of a person’s disability on their ability to work;
  • Developing a career plan;
  • Job customisation;
  • On-the-job training and intermittent support with daily work tasks;
  • Direct supervision and/or group-based support to enable meaningful participation at work;
  • Physical assistance and personal care delivered in the workplace;
  • Supports to manage disability-related behaviour or complex needs at work;
  • Non face-to-face activities that are directly related to supporting a participant’s employment.
  • Transport support to and from work (if you can’t use public transport without great difficulty due to your disability)
  • Extra on-the-job training and support with your work tasks that you need because of your disability
  • Other capacity building supports that are likely to lead to successful engagement in a Disability Employment Service (DES).

These supports are available to participants who have employment as part of their NDIS goals and have funding under;

Core Supports

  • Assistance with social and community participation (Supports in Employment-Specialised Supported Employment)

Capacity Building
  • Finding and Keeping a Job – Employment Support
    (Workplace Assistance)
  • Finding and Keeping a Job – Employment Related Assessment and Counselling

Customer Service

We are here to help answer any questions you may have about the NDIS, including eligibility, access, and the support services we offer. Our customer service team is available to assist you Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Entrust Support Services has immediate capacity to take behaviour support referrals.
